The Good Lord Bird isn’t a Christian, per se. The Good Lord Bird thinks of himself as a kind of esoteric re-imaginative newly born definer. In the sense that he borrows a lot from Christianity when and where he sees fit. But certainly there’s a beauty in thinking all of your sins, whatsoever they may be, may be washed away in a torrent of water. She loves the water, and I love her. And she proclaims herself a Christian. Almost as loudly as she proclaims herself clean and free of any stench.
